Join our Bay Area mixed-terrain group ride on Saturday 3/23
Join us for a 27-mile mixed-terrain group ride with The Gravel Ride Podcast and Thesis, celebrating our joint birthdays the best way we know how: shredding gravel.
The route:
Starting in Mill Valley, we'll climb Old Railroad Grade to West Point Inn (appoximately 1 hour climb). After a brief re-group, we will continue climbing another 15 minutes up to East Peak and head left along the road for a few more punchy climbs, until heading back into the dirt via Rock Springs Fireroad. Rock Springs will deliver 3 tough, but short climbs before opening up to a fun descent. We will turn left to Laurel Dell experiencing some exceptional gravel downhill and a creek crossing before climbing back up to the road at Ridgecrest. From here, we will descend on the road via Pantoll Ranger station back down to Mill Valley.
Best bail out points will be at West Point Inn (cut across to Pantoll, back down the road) and before Rock Springs (continue down the road and miss Laurel Dell entirely).
Spread the word and bring your gravel-curious friends. It's gonna be a fun one.
