Randall R. Jacobs
A two-time amateur national champion and former pro mountain bike racer, Randall started his career in bike shops, developed product and market strategy for Specialized (including work on the original Diverge), and co-developed the OpenBike open platform for bicycle electronics and software. He also advises companies and nonprofits of all sizes in the cycling, mobility, and technology spaces.
A Boston native, Randall holds an undergraduate degree from Northeastern University and a master’s degree from Tufts Fletcher School, studied at Sun Yat Sen University in Guangzhou, has spent years in Asia on supply chain as well as business and product development projects, and is a fluent Mandarin speaker.
