Customer Experience Manager

We’re looking for a Customer Experience Manager who will go above and beyond to help our riders through their questions, problems, and requests. We believe that having an amazing interaction with our riders is one of our most important assets, and we want you to lead the charge as one of the public faces of our company. If you’re a friendly, thoughtful, talented communicator with a strong foundation of technical bicycle knowledge, we want to meet you.

This role is a remote, part-time contract with flexible hours (10-15 hours/week to start, with growth over time). Candidates must be based in the United States.

Note: If you have experience in program management, client management, and marketing, this role could be combined with an upcoming Program Manager role for our bike shop network. Drop us a line at jointheteam@thesis.bike to learn more.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive our customer experience strategy, from shaping programs to measuring success to sharing and implementing feedback.
  • Deliver friendly, thoughtful, helpful responses to online customer questions on product, basic fit, compatibility, order status, and other requests.
  • Lead phone consultations for customers who want a deeper dive in configuring their OB1 to their fit and ride style, scheduled in advance based on your availability.
  • Become an expert on technical knowledge of Thesis products, particularly around product, basic fit, and compatibility.
  • Potential to grow into a team lead role as the company grows.

You are:

  • A strong communicator who can respond professionally and with empathy in written emails and on the phone, leaving our customers wowed by the experience.
  • An expert in technical bicycle work, e.g. you’ve been a professional mechanic, fitter, shop manager, or cycling coach. You’re the go-to person your friends ask for bicycle advice, you know the best way to put things together, and you see through marketing gimmicks to the engineering underneath.
  • An organized, detail-oriented professional who can work independently and respond to customer inquiries thoroughly and on time.
  • Comfortable working on small, all-hands-on-deck startup teams as they grow over time.

Executive Assistant to the CEO

We're looking for a seasoned executive assistant to help our CEO with inbox management and task management. If you're detail-oriented, highly organized, a good writer, and interested in joining a company dedicated to positive change, we'd love to meet you. We're especially interested in folks who have experience with early stage startups.

Hours would be 10-15/week, remote, with potential for growth. Please note that the annual salary range listed is for equivalent full-time.
